Meet Dr. Wright

Carl R. Wright, DMD – A native of southeastern Idaho, Dr. Wright began his life-long pursuit of education by earning a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from Idaho State University. He and his wife then traded snowfall for sunshine and moved to Mesa, AZ where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree and Certificate in Dental Public Health from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences – Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. In his pursuit to learn about comprehensive dental care, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through Lutheran Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Over the next 6 years, Dr. Wright focused on providing exceptional care, skill, and judgment in a group practice setting in Ahwatukee and Mesa which led to him to accept the role of Regional Clinical Director of 14 office locations.

While practicing general dentistry, Dr. Wright developed a passion for helping patients preserve their natural dentition through the diagnosis and treatment of odontogenic disease. These interests led him to pursue advanced training in both conventional and microsurgical endodontic procedures and after completing 27 months of training at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, he earned his endodontic specialty certificate.

Dr. Wright is currently board-eligible with the American Board of Endodontics and holds active memberships in the American Association of Endodontists and American Dental Association. He has been married to his wife Tina for nearly 20 years and together they have 2 daughters, Addyson and Hailey. When he is not in the office, Dr. Wright enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and trying new restaurants, landscape photography and spending time outdoors.
