Acacia Endodontics was founded in Arizona in 1995 by Lance P. Schneider, DDS. Dr. Schneider is a graduate of Long Beach State University with a Major in Zoology (Physiology) and a Minor in Chemistry. Dr. Schneider received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University in 1981 and after seven years in private general practice, returned to the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (The World’s First Dental School), University of Maryland to complete a two-year Residency in Endodontics, receiving a Certificate in Endodontics in 1990 and is a recognized Specialist in Endodontics by the American Association of Endodontics and all United States Boards of Dental Examiners. Dr. Schneider also received advanced training in anesthesia and emergency medicine at New York Medical College and is a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and a Diplomat of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Schneider is licensed to practice in Arizona, Utah, California, Colorado, Alaska and Maryland.

Dr. Schneider and his wife, Karen live in Chandler, Arizona. They have one daughter, Lara, who attends Utah State University. They also have two dogs, Wally and Molly, and a cat Tucson. Dr. Schneider enjoys general aviation, boating, and skiing.

Dr. Shaun R. Cullimore joined Acacia Endodontics in June 2007. He graduated from Weber State University in June 1995 with a degree in the social sciences. He later attended Brigham Young University where he earned his M.S. degree in 1997. After several years as a pharmaceutical representative in Phoenix, Arizona, he uprooted his family for Louisville, Kentucky where he attended the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2005. After giving up the “bluegrass,” that is Kentucky, he and his family headed for “The Swamp” also known as Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Cullimore attended The University of Florida College of Dentistry where he received an M.S. degree along with his certificate to practice endodontics in 2007. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Cullimore and his wife Katie are the parents of six beautiful children: Kami, Austin, Kyle, Allie, Kody, and Kade. They are currently living in Gilbert, AZ. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, going on historic vacations, coaching little league baseball, and most anything else that involves his family.
